Here at Curve over the past few months we’ve been busy in the build-up to DrupalCamp Yorkshire 2014.
DrupalCamp Yorkshire 2014 starts tomorrow!
Now, the DrupalCamp Yorkshire 2014 weekend is finally upon us. We’re looking forward to hunkering down to a weekend of learning and inspiration whilst meeting Drupal friends old and new.
Based at the Carriageworks in Leeds this year’s DrupalCamp features three tracks - the first track will feature speakers sharing what they’ve learnt about Drupal 8 so far and one track is dedicated to newcomers to Drupal wishing to learn more. The third track covers User Experience Design with a series of talks looking at how to improve the experience of a product for both administrators and public users. We’re also lucky to be joined by Jakub Zalas from Symfony Labs to deliver the opening keynote.
Our team are also delivering sessions this weekend with talks on mobile usability testing from Tom; Dan leading a site building demonstration in Drupal 7 for newcomers; Danny talking people through how to use Drush to speed up Drupal development workflows. I'm opening the conference, showing our gratitude to everyone who has supported the event and group, and making sure everything runs like clockwork!
As an open source technology group, we’ve had a fantastic response from numerous speakers who have volunteered their time to share their knowledge, experience and ideas with over 70 delegates attending over the weekend. Massive thanks to everyone that’s helped with the organisation of the Camp, all the sponsors who have kindly contributed and all of the volunteers who will be on hand over the weekend.
